Meet Kacey

Kacey Velazquez is a singer/songwriter, recording artist, vocal coach, and entrepreneur from New York City. Kacey has been involved in the arts her whole life. When she was just thirteen years old, she began songwriting, recording, and performing her original music at acclaimed venues in New York City including The Bitter End, 54 Below, The Cutting Room, The Astor Room, and the St. George Theatre.

Kacey pursued music throughout her education, attending esteemed LaGuardia High School (The Fame School) in Manhattan and completing songwriting and music business intensives at NYU Steinhardt and NYU Tisch. Later, she graduated Berklee College of Music with a degree in music business.

Kacey moved to Nashville in 2017 and continued to write, record, and perform her music at renowned local venues including The Listening Room and The High Watt. Her soulful pop music garnered praise from fans to industry veterans alike - and it’s her powerhouse voice that continues to distinguish her from her peers and leave an undeniable impact.

In addition to her artistry, Kacey is a successful vocal coach. She has taught voice lessons in New York City, Nashville, and online to singers around the world for over a decade. She is currently a vocal coach and songwriting instructor at New York Vocal Coaching in Manhattan. Kacey is also a yoga practitioner and certified yoga instructor. In 2022, she founded Yoga For The Singer, yoga classes designed to explore the connections between the breath, body, and voice.
